Christian nut justifies his act of murder

WICHITA, Kan.—A man who murdered one of the few U.S. doctors who performed late-term abortions used his sentencing hearing as a forum to espouse his views, arguing he had chosen to obey "God's law" to save babies.

Scott Roeder was sentenced Thursday to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 50 years. It's the longest sentence possible under Kansas law for first-degree murder.

The 52-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man killed George Tiller as he was serving as an usher last May in the foyer of the doctor's church in Wichita.

Roeder also was sentenced to an additional year in prison on each of two counts of aggravated assault for threatening two church ushers. With time off for good behavior, Roeder won't be eligible for parole for 51 years and eight months.

Christian Terrorist! God's law says Thou shalt not Murder. Apparently Roeder missed that one. He knows what God wants and that is to murder this doctor. What? God cannot do this? He doesn't want to get His hands dirty? What goes on in some minds is unbelievable. Abortion is never condemned in the Bible even though it was a known practice even farther back than Moses. See my blog Abortion. This act isn't any better than an Islamic terrorist strapping a bomb to themselves and setting it off amongst the non-believers. Religion poisons everything

  1. How can this murderer call himself a christian
when one of the 10 commandents says "Thou Shalt Not Kill." Murdering an abortion doctor does not sound very christian to me. I think it strange a god would tell people to kill other people. Sounds like an angry god to me.
I would have to say if I believed in a god and he told me to kill someone I would have to say no, do it yourself.
