Comparing early human fossils

Homo Erectus - lived 1.8 to 1.3 million years ago

Homo heidelbergensis - lived 600,000 and 400,000 years ago

Homo Neanderthal - lived about 350,000 years ago. Disappeared about 30,000 years ago

The human origin exhibit at the Museum of Natural History is a great place to see the human fossil record. You can see the progress of human evolution comparing the fossils side by side. Some cast are available for touching. They even have two real fossils, one of Neanderthal and one of Cro-Magnon (35,000 years ago) man. They were on borrow from Musée de l'Homme, Paris Museum. They had signs up for no pictures so I didn't but it was wonderful to actually be able to look at them.

I really don't know how creationist cannot look at these and not realize the Bible is entirely off when it comes to science.
