Don't mess with the missionary man. He will fuck up your head.
But its a great song anyway.
Well I was born an original sinnerI was borne from original sinAnd if I had a dollar billThere'd be a mountain of moneyPiled up to my chin...My mother told me goodMy mother told me strongShe said "be true to yourselfAnd you can't go wrong.""But there's just one thingThat you must understand:You can fool with your brotherBut don't mess with a missionary man."Don't mess with a missionary manDon't mess with a missionary manWell the missionary manHe's got God on his side (a mental condition)He's got the saints and apostlesBackin' up from behindBlack eyed looks from those Bible booksHe's a man with a missionGot a serious mindThere was a woman in the jungleAnd a monkey on a treeThe missionary man he was followin' meHe said "Stop what you're doingGet down upon your kneesI've a message for you that you better believe."
