Here’s chapter and verse on a more-or-less comprehensive list of things banned in the Leviticus book of the bible. A decent number of them are punishable by death.

Unless you’ve never done any of them (and 54 to 56 are particularly tricky), perhaps it’s time to lay off quoting 18:22 for a while?

1. Burning any yeast or honey in offerings to God (2:11)

2. Failing to include salt in offerings to God (2:13)

3. Eating fat (3:17)

4. Eating blood (3:17)

5. Failing to testify against any wrongdoing you’ve witnessed (5:1)

6. Failing to testify against any wrongdoing you’ve been told about (5:1)

7. Touching an unclean animal (5:2)

8. Carelessly making an oath (5:4)

9. Deceiving a neighbour about something trusted to them (6:2)

10. Finding lost property and lying about it (6:3)

11. Bringing unauthorised fire before God (10:1)

12. Letting your hair become unkempt (10:6)

13. Tearing your clothes (10:6)

14. Drinking alcohol in holy places (bit of a problem for Catholics, this ‘un) (10:9)

15. Eating an animal which doesn’t both chew cud and has a divided hoof (cf: camel, rabbit, pig) (11:4-7)

16. Touching the carcass of any of the above (problems here for rugby) (11:8)

17. Eating – or touching the carcass of – any seafood without fins or scales (11:10-12)

18. Eating – or touching the carcass of - eagle, the vulture, the black vulture, the red kite, any kind of black kite, any kind of raven, the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk, the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl, the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey, the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat. (11:13-19)

19. Eating – or touching the carcass of – flying insects with four legs, unless those legs are jointed (11:20-22)

20. Eating any animal which walks on all four and has paws (good news for cats) (11:27)

21. Eating – or touching the carcass of – the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard, the gecko, the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink and the chameleon (11:29)

22. Eating – or touching the carcass of – any creature which crawls on many legs, or its belly (11:41-42)

23. Going to church within 33 days after giving birth to a boy (12:4)

24. Going to church within 66 days after giving birth to a girl (12:5)

25. Having sex with your mother (18:7)

26. Having sex with your father’s wife (18:8)

27. Having sex with your sister (18:9)

28. Having sex with your granddaughter (18:10)

29. Having sex with your half-sister (18:11)

30. Having sex with your biological aunt (18:12-13)

31. Having sex with your uncle’s wife (18:14)

18 Reasons Why Christianity is Man-Made

The most obvious and yet most damning reason against Religion is that it is man made. Here is a great website that gives 18 reason why Christianity is man made. He makes the case that Christian apologist have arguments against them but they only satisfy the believer. All they need is one bent and barely stable rusty nail to hang onto to be satisfied. I recall buying such things when I was a Christian, but deep down inside, something just told me they really were flimsy defenses and happily for me they won they day. Good-bye cognitive dissonance. It is no wonder so many youtube videos made by Christians block the vote, block leaving a comment or you must wait for their approval. Doesn't that sound like fear? They cannot bear the truth. On the flip side the videos done by atheist allow the free flow of comments. This is all true for blogs as well.

The Evidence For Christianity

The 18 arguments showing Christianity is man-made. I had added some of my thoughts here.
1. The flawed Bible
2. Jesus and Paul expected the apocalypse very soon even in that generations lifetime.
3. Converting a local god into a universal god, who heretofore left millions unaware.
4. No evidence to the historicity of Jesus beyond the New Testament.
5. Christian refusal to learn from new evidence and recite old arguments.
6. Prophecies of Jesus retrofitted into the Old Testament and poorly at that. The book of Matthew is quite flawed for me in particular.
7. The flimsy argument the NT was written by eye-witnesses. My favorite is the 500 who were resurrected when Jesus died and they are unnamed but apparently told everyone and yet not even one of them is named or has a book written by them.
8. The flawed argument that people will only give their lives for that which is true. No. They only need to be convinced its true. That doesn't make it true. The 9/11 terrorists flying into the World Trade Center is sufficient to dismiss that.
9. The mumbo jumbo about crowbarring Jesus into divinity where now the one god is three. That wasn't introduced until the late 4th century.
10. Christian apologist practice bait and switch tactics. They argue for the existence of god that could be used by any religion and then supposedly having you convinced they assume that proves their god, which is does not. It could just as easily apply to Thor, Odin, Vishnu or Enki.
11. In order to believe Christianity literally they are forced to believe the world is only 6000 years old and the arguments they use to ignore evidence is astonishing.
12. The obvious human endeavor to determine which books belonged in the Bible. They had to choose out of hundreds of books which one was god inspired. They was a long period of dispute and then once settled the command went out to destroy those books not in the canon. There is nothing awe inspiring about that process. This was done under the Roman Catholic reign, which many Protestants would not be happy about. Interestingly enough the gospels were unnamed for years until someone decided to give them a church leader's name (e.g. apostle) to provide clout. This was typical in ancient times. Additionally in comparing manuscripts of the New Testament there were thousands of errors, omissions and even additions so much so the author of Revelation gave a stern warning against the practice. A perfect god could have been more hands on.
13. The account of the death and resurrection of Jesus, the only thing that matters in Christianity, is contradictory when you read the 4 gospels side by side.
14. It is obvious from the style of writing that the gospel of John & Revelation were not the same authors. Revelations almost didn't make it into the NT (which frankly would have been great to cut down on all the nuts attracted to it), but they made the argument to accept it into the NT because they said it was written by the same author as the gospel of John which actually is not the case.
15. The author of the book of Revelation makes no claim about his cryptic prophecies being way off in the future but meant it to be applicable to his times. Meanwhile, generation after generation of Christians say it is for their time.
16. Christian history and particularly when Christianity is in power they torture and murder those who don't believe as they do. Sounds like a local god, doesn't it? Here in the U.S. they show the same proclivity to oppress others that don't believe as they do (e.g the laws against gays and abortion). A taste of things to come if they continue. Their local god gets pissed at those who don't agree with him, but somehow he is unable to take care of it himself. All-powerful or imaginary?
17. You shall know them by their fruits Jesus said. Yet morally speaking there is no difference between an atheist and a Christian or any other group of people who believe differently. How is it the one nation under god was one of the last to abolish slavery. And then there was and is the continual race hatred. Also, why did the loving Christians wipe out about every Native American populations? Is this the country they want to get us back to? For the answer ask a gay person.
18. Why are there so few details on heaven besides eternity bowing before god. Why is hell easier to understand?

So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

How impossible would it seem to have mankind land on the moon in as little as 100 years ago in spite of different languages? Funny how the "god" presence becomes smaller and smaller the more we learn and understand our world. As frightened primitives we made up all kinds of stories about god(s). If we were the problem then we can fix it. Blood sacrifices will make this terrifying One happy again. However, we now know how vast the universe is and we know that events in life just happen so we don't have that illusionary control anymore. We can face life squarely as it is. The results have been far better than anyone could have expected.

THE PRESENT TRUTH:

May 26, 2012

The term “present truth” has come to mean much to God’s Church over the past few years, and it is possibly going to mean more to us now.

The “present truth”—truth that we have at this moment in time—truth that is “presently” with us is a possible reality that is not easy to carry. We have believed that Jesus Christ would begin his return in the atmosphere of this earth today, the Sabbath day of May 26th. We have believed this to be a matter of timing for sundown in Jerusalem toward the end of May 26th.

As I write this, that time is just about here and nothing has begun in the world that would signal the need or purpose for that reality—Christ’s return. Yes, it could still take place, as the timing in this present day of a worldwide observance of God’s Sabbath is still ongoing. Such is fully in God’s hands and according to His will, as to what comes to pass and when. It is true that after the captivity of Judah in Babylon that the Jewish people began using the Babylon system of counting time and God did begin to deal with them more according to the type of system they had begun to use. Certainly the weekly Sabbath and annual Holy Days were still counted according to God’s calendar of timing.

So today, I will still look for the possible fulfillment of all those things we have looked forward to right up to the end of the Sabbath day in Hawaii, as that is the timing used today in this modern world.

Yet I feel compelled to write this post, as I strongly feel it is necessary for God’s people right now. I will still look for the possibility of Christ’s coming right up until the very end of this Sabbath on earth. For the sake of all God’s people, I hope that there is not more we must learn concerning Christ’s return, but it appears we likely do have more to “see.” We know there is much that God has been revealing, in the manner that He has, which is due to a great spiritual war that continues right up to the coming of Jesus Christ. We have come to “see” (by experience and revelation from God) that God reveals to us what we need when we need it, especially during this end-time and the closing out of this age of mankind, with the process of bringing to an end Satan’s influence and rule in this world.

A Heavy Heart
The expression that best describes some of my emotion and empathy toward God’s Church at this time is that of a “heavy heart.” Though many ridicule and shake their head in disbelief of what we have published for this world over the past few years, and they will undoubtedly become worse after this time, I understand their disbelief. I also understand our belief and our holding fast to the truth God has revealed to us.

As the hours progressed this morning toward what we have looked to as a final countdown to Christ’s coming, there have been those things that have been flooding my mind that I have not wanted to address, but felt I should. I have experienced this every time in the past when God has begun revealing His will and purpose to me—revelation of more truth—understanding and clarification of truth already given.

We have indeed gone through many mixed feelings over the past few weeks as we have approached this Pentecost of 2012. The anticipation of such an event right up to the last minute reminds me of Abraham when he was about to follow through with the sacrifice of his own son. The feelings and emotion of such a time cannot be understood nor appreciated until having experienced something similar in faith. We now relate more to Noah than we ever did in the past. Such is pleasing to God that people remain faithful to the end when God intervenes to fulfill His word or to reveal another way. God revealed another way to Abraham. As I consider these truths, I understand the outrage that some will manifest by these words. I also understand the relief that God is giving me to “see” what He is revealing concerning “another way,” or an addition and clarification of “His way” to bring the end-time to a close.

By the end of this day, in the last time zone for this Sabbath day, if Jesus Christ has not begun his return to this earth, then we will do as a minister in the Netherlands said to me today concerning what God admonishes His people to do, “We move forward.” Indeed we will, for we know God’s Church.

So candidly, I am disappointed that Jesus Christ hasn’t begun his return. But I am also excited to know that there remains a short work in front of us. That will be explained in the Pentecost sermon that I will be organizing and prerecording as soon as I finish writing this post.

I wasn’t disappointed when God revealed to us that the two witnesses are not literally killed and then lie dead in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 ½ days. That revelation was easy to receive. That which God is now revealing is a little more difficult because we had our hope so set on Christ coming on this Pentecost. Knowing that he may not is indeed disappointing, but it is not something to shake our faith in any manner. Instead, we take the good with the bad and we move forward!

That which is most important is that we follow God where ever He leads and however He leads us. The reality is that due to what God is now revealing, I am also encouraged to see that much of what was written in 2008 – God’s Final Witness will become more meaningful and more powerfully revealed.

These things I am writing at this moment are being done so quickly in order to inform all God’s people that we are to “be strong and of good courage.” What we are living is not easy, but it is all for a very great purpose. Do not become discouraged, even though we know what is ahead will be difficult. People will have to face matters of employment, humility, finances, ridicule, etc., but we move forward ever thankful that the past 3 ½ years were not of great physical tribulation on this earth with the suffering it would have brought with it. But what is ahead is not easy. It will be difficult, but God will see us through.

Having said all this, I am now going to begin working on the Pentecost sermon that will be posted as soon as it is finished, just as this past Sabbath’s prerecorded sermon was posted. In this manner we can begin regrouping and refocusing on what lies ahead. Time passes and our hardships and trials will pass, and in all this God will be with you and give you the strength and intervention you need to move forward.

This Pentecost sermon will explain much. God has been merciful to us and has revealed so much to us over the past few years. He continues to do so. Wait on Him for He will not forsake us nor leave us.

Through all this my initial hope remains the same, as the sun has not set on the 26th in all the world. But if we must go forward, then so be it! God’s will be done.

Crap. Jesus Is Coming Today.

Well, my prayers have been ineffectual. No frickin' sign that Jesus will delay his return til next weekend. My friends don't believe in this and would not adjust their party plan. To hell with them literally. I am sick of all these assholes that just don't take my needs into consideration.

Hmmmm....if Jesus didn't answer my prayer does that mean he is pissed at me? That's not good. Jesus I really didn't mean to get angry and all. By the blood of the Lamb I ask your forgiveness. Whew! That should take care of that.

Well, brace yourselves, any moment now, the nukes be coming, billions be dying and Jesus will stop all that shit personally today. Everything is gonna be all right. I will personal go up to Pastor Weinland and thank him for letting me know that Jesus was coming today. He prophesied that in 2008 by putting out his book. Is that amazing? Yeah! The rest of you can burn in hell. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Jesus Returns Tomorrow 5/27/2012

Your Memorial Day Weekend Is Screwed

I have really been looking forward to this three day weekend and particularly on Sunday 5/27 to see friends and family. Now I find that Pastor Ronald Weinland says Jesus is coming on 5/27/2012. It's real man, he has bible text and everything. We are going to see WW III and Jesus coming in a cloud on that day. Billions will die. Jesus H. Christ, what a nightmare when all I wanted was just to have a little fun weekend. So if you are with me can you pray to Jesus that he postpone this shit until the following weekend? You know he says you will receive anything if you pray in his name.

"Lord Jesus, oh, so precious and oh, so kind, please delay your return and the start of WW III until June 3rd. I will be a really good person if you do this for me. In your heavenly and righteous name. Speak to me now and show me a sign you have heard my prayer and those who have joined me. Amen"

As readers of this site know, May 27, 2012, is the time that I have stated as being the date Jesus Christ will return as King of kings over all government on this earth. For such an event to come to pass, the Trumpets of Revelation must all sound, the United States and dollar collapse, the ten nations of Europe arise to fulfill the final revival of the Holy Roman Empire, and Russia with China must unite against Europe in WWIII.

It is because of such destructive power in the hands of mankind that God has shown that if He did not intervene quickly, once such a conflagration begins, mankind would destroy itself. That is exactly what God is going to do. He will cut short the war that man begins, and He will do so on May 27th, which is also the day Jesus Christ returns.

Hard to believe a year has past since Judgement Day. Those wacky Christians, except when they get involved with this world, can be quite entertaining. Jesus told them "My kingdom is not of this world". Those steeped in politics skip that part. That in fact was the role of Judas. He was trying to force Jesus' hand to nation build. Whoops, He got crucified instead. LOL.



Harold Camping has posted on his web familyradio.com his lessons learn and more delusion. Read the bible and you will find the BS yourself if they don't guilt you into it. Isn't it lovely how they can be so wrong, but still not wake up to THE BIBLE IS WRONG? It is a fairy tale. Which reminds me of the dummies who say "Evolution is only a theory". In other words they would swap for a fairy tale over a scientific theory. The bible has been shown to be wrong for centuries. Thank you Harold for giving us just one more example.

Dear Family Radio Family,

In this time of confusion and turmoil, God’s Word remains the only truth in which we can trust. God has shown us again the truth that He alone is true. In Romans 3:4 God declares: "Let God be true but every man a liar." Events within the last year have proven that no man can be fully trusted. Even the most sincere and zealous of us can be mistaken.

The May 21 campaign was an astounding event if you think about its impact upon this world. There is no question that millions, if not billions of people heard for the first time the Bible’s warning that Jesus Christ will return. Huge portions of this world that had never read or seen a Bible heard the message the Christ Jesus is coming to rapture His people and destroy this natural world.

Yes, we humbly acknowledge we were wrong about the timing; yet though we were wrong God is still using the May 21 warning in a very mighty way. In the months following May 21 the Bible has, in some ways, come out from under the shadows and is now being discussed by all kinds of people who never before paid any attention to the Bible. We learn about this, for example, by the recent National Geographic articles concerning the King James Bible and the Apostles. Reading about and even discussing about the Bible can never be a bad thing, even if the Bible’s authenticity is questioned or ridiculed. The world’s attention has been called to the Bible.

We must also openly acknowledge that we have no new evidence pointing to another date for the end of the world. Though many dates are circulating, Family Radio has no interest in even considering another date. God has humbled us through the events of May 21, to continue to even more fervently search the Scriptures (the Bible), not to find dates, but to be more faithful in our understanding.

We have learned the very painful lesson that all of creation is in God’s hands and He will end time in His time, not ours! We humbly recognize that God may not tell His people the date when Christ will return, any more than He tells anyone the date they will die physically.

We realize that many people are hoping they will know the date of Christ’s return. In fact for a time Family Radio fell into that kind of thinking. But we now realize that those people who were calling our attention to the Bible’s statement that "of that day and hour knoweth no man" (Matthew 24:36 & Mark 13:32), were right in their understanding of those verses and Family Radio was wrong. Whether God will ever give us any indication of the date of His return is hidden in God’s divine plan.

We were even so bold as to insist that the Bible guaranteed that Christ would return on May 21 and that the true believers would be raptured. Yet this incorrect and sinful statement allowed God to get the attention of a great many people who otherwise would not have paid attention. Even as God used sinful Balaam to accomplish His purposes, so He used our sin to accomplish His purpose of making the whole world acquainted with the Bible. However, even so, that does not excuse us. We tremble before God as we humbly ask Him for forgiveness for making that sinful statement. We are so thankful that God is so loving that He will forgive even this sin.

So we must be satisfied to humbly wait upon God, and trust He will guide His people to safety. At Family Radio, we continue to look to God for guidance. If it is His good pleasure for us to continue on with our original mission, the proclamation of the Gospel, God’s Word, then we must continue to look to Him.

Zack Kopplin began a campaign to repeal Louisiana's creationism law in 2010, the summer before his senior year in high school. He delivered this speech to the Louisiana Senate Education Committee before his bill was killed by a 2-1 vote. He will be back with another repeal next year.
